This is an old H.F. Cox worm box that is from Grand Rapids Michigan. There is a paper label that is on top of the box that reads"Cox Line" H. F. Cox Company" Grand Rapids Michigan" The"Cox Line" is barely visible but was able get a clear picture by angling the camera with the light. The box is in perfect working order. with 4 rakes to bring up the worms when the side wheel is turned. There are two belt clips on the back to run a belt strap through. There is some paint missing, my guess is 40% missing. The lid is flap spring activated, you can see in picture 2 and 3, the 2 flaps where the hinge is. when you open the lid, it pops back open. and you flip it and it automatically shuts till you flip back. This is a clever device made with American enginuity. I have never seen another one like this. There are a couple ... morelittle ding from use. I did clean with WD-40. Description THIS IS A VERY NEAT VINTAGE LEATHER JALEOXE REEL CASE. JALEOXE REELS WERE MADE BETWEEN 1930-1950 AND ARE REPORTED TO BE WELL MADE GOOD QUALITY REELS. ONE POST I READ SAYS THAT THE REELS ARE ACTUALLY MADE BY THE J.A. COXE COMPANY BUT I REALLY DON'T KNOW IF THIS IS ACCURATE. THE LEATHER CASE MEASURES ABOUT 4 3/8" LONG. IS MARKED GENUINE JALEOXE TACKLE BRONSON, MICHIGAN. THE CASE IS IN GOOD CONDITION BUT DOES HAVE SOME WEAR FROM AGE/USE. THERE IS A LOOSE STITCH WERE SNAPPING LID MEETS CASE(SEE PIC) BUT OTHERWISE A VERY NICE OLDER CASE THAT APPEARS TO BE PRETTY RARE TO FIND THESE DAYS. WOULD BE GREAT ADDITION TO A VINTAGE FISHING REEL COLLETION. SEE PICS.

RARE 1950's COX TD-3 AIRPLANE *Space Bug Jr. Engine* *SKYLON REEL* "EXTRAS" NR
Up for auction is a beautiful rare vintage early 1950's COX TD-3 AIRPLANE made in the USA and powered by the Space Bug Jr. gas engine. This Cox Airplane is complete with all original parts. Also included are the instructions for the TD-3 Airplane and the Space Bug Jr. Engine. Skylon Reel and string and clip. The airplane shows minor wear including a small hole and crack on the body near the engine and a small piece missing at the tip of the wing as seen in the pictures. The engine has good compression and everything is in good condition except for the damage described earlier. This is a must for any collector of vintage Cox Toys.
