The runners in the floor still have paint on them. I don't use it enough to keep it so I'm just going to sell it. 2010 featherlite 9409 3 horse trailer used twice
i bought this trailer new in the summer of 2012 and pulled to two local county fairs then decided we needed a bigger one. It has been only used twice. It has tack room with blanket bar. Bridle rack and a rear tack area with a saddle rack. The saddle rack can also be moved to the front tack area. This is an all aluminum trailer. Axles are two 5200 lb with 16 inch tires. Gvwr is 10400 lbs. Empty weight i would guess is approx 2000 lbs. I will call manufacturer if you need to know exactly what it weighs. Rubber floor in front tack area and horse area. There's a Armstrong Transfer and Storage Truck/trailer an early Mayflower Transit Company van out of Amarillo.Texas as it's marked on side. Truck looks early ... more40's to me.Could be World War Two era-not sure. There's a livestock trailer built by Hobbs hauling a trailer full of horses or mules-they appear to be mules or jackasses too. Sign on side of trailer hard to read but looks like Ross Brothers Horses/Mules Co. This is very historical as The Ross Brothers Horse and Mule merchants were also out of Fort Worth and had defense contracts I read to supply horses and mules to military and war effort.Waddy Ross.My first reaction to the photo on this old folder looks like a mix of horses and mules in the photo being hauled in a Hobbs built trailer to a military location. It does look like a late 30's.Early 40's vehicle used during WW II time? Vintage Structo Steak TruckW/Hay Bales & Horse Trailer W/Horses Collectbl. Orig.
Now here's a nice original Steak truck with a load of hay bales and a horse trailer complete with 2 horses. The truck is made by the Co. Structo and is the same scale as Tonka trucks of this type. This is in one of it's original colors of turquoise and for it's age. It is in very good shape considering it being 40-50 years old. The truck cleaned up very nice and the decals are in good shape too. The steaks are still available and it uses 6, which is the same amt. as the Tonka steak trucks use. Hmmm. All 6 tires are present(4 on truck& 2 on trailer) and are roll good with whitewalls and all 6 hubcaps too! The truck is missing the windshield, but that too is available. I think the hay bales might still be available however the last time I purchased them, they had gone up about 3 time than the time before. Such is life. 1995 Featherlite 2 horse SLANT LOAD trailer
1995 Two horse SLANT Load Featherlite Trailer. You'll never find another like this one! I have bought a LQ trailer so I no longer use this one. This two horse has only been owned by me 6 ft wide. And 12 feet long, 6 foot 8 inch high on the inside. I have hauled plow horses. Always keep very clean and used to haul wild animals for most of the years I have had it. The Hard wood floor is in excellent shape. It did not have a center panel and I used it to haul two and three buggy horses for a while. But after hauling my riding horse on a long trip with a slant load trailer. My horse would not stand straight in the trailer when I hauled him, so I turned this trailer into a two horse SLANT load trailer with a walk in tack area complete with separate walk in door. This is the earlier year trailer that will fit only on 1958-1959 Farms Stake trucks with the pin hook hitch. Inside of trailer is nice and not all rusted out. 1999 Bison Two Horse Trailer- With Dressing Room
You are bidding on a 1999 Bison two horse trailer with dressing room. This trailer is the AlumaSport model. Trailer is aluminum skinned over a steel frame. This trailer is in immaculate condition. It has been very well kept and cleaned after every use. Trailer has received yearly maintenance. Including most recently all bearings redone with four brand new tires. Trailer measures seven feet two inches tall and six feet wide. There is seven feet between butt bar and chest bar with a three foot walk through in front of chest bars. There is a full escape door on either side of trailer. Trailer is the ramp load style with swinging rear doors above ramp. Trailer has a four foot by six foot dressing room with two saddle racks. Bridle racks, and whip holders. Trailer also has fiberglass roof which will never rust. The are windows on all doors as ... morewell on both sides of trailer and front of dressing room. Floor of trailer is also in great shape, and is fully matted. Ramp is spring loaded and one person can easily close. All lights and brakes are in perfect working order.
