I acquired this Stove from an older gentleman who told me that his mother used to use this Stove all the time when she would do her canning with several neighbor ladies- out in the barn! He told me that as far as he knows. The Stove works just fine. It is in Excellent Vintage condition- Very Stout- has just light surface rust that will easily remove with a bit of sanding& quite a bit of the original Black paint still remains on the underside. I don't have any white gas. So couldn't actually test the lantern; when I turn the valve I hear gas escaping, so I am sure it will work well. Two new mantles are included and will require burning in. The lantern is in generally good condition. But has a lot of paint chips and scratches. The porcelain smoke bell has several chips. The floor of the burner chamber has some rust. Up for auction I have a nice little vintage Coleman 2 burner gas stove model 431 Easi-Lite"tourist" This stove has been used and shows signs of burning and usage but very minor. There is some minor surface rust that be cleaned off on the grate and one burner. Nothing serious that will affect use. The outside is nice with very minor scratching. Only one side of the stove appears to have been used. Please make sure to look at photos. Sorry but I am unsure of how to date these stoves and have looked all over the stove. Vintage Vulcan-Hart US ARMY RANGE wood/gas/coal 8 burner plate cook stove oven
This is the Vulcan-Hart version of the US Army commercial wood/coal kitchen stove originally built by the Garland stove company for the US Government contract. But has many upgrades. This stove has a large commercial size natural gas burner in the firebox, which likely could be rejetted for propane allowing you to use multiple fuel sources(Wood, coal, gas) It also has a built in cast iron water heater heat exchanger in there. It has a brite"US" nameplate which appears to be solid brass and silver accenting on the casting names and rivet heads. The top is 52W X 36D X 33H. It's real cast iron- it weighs in the neighborhood of 400 lbs. The Vulcan-Hart company. With history back to 1865, still makes high quality $$$ commercial stoves today and the quality and lineage of this unit shows. Built in 1951 according to the nameplate on ... morethe side. It came with a 1947 house I purchased last year. According to the 87 year old previous owner, the unit was bought new and placed in the corner of the living room by his aunt during a 1952 renovation and hasn't moved since. He only used it for extra heating in that large room and never recalled actually burning wood in the unit, and I found only evidence of natural gas use. It comes with the stock"tools" poker, scraper etc. The unused heavy-ass firebox grating for burning solids is in the last photo. It was sitting in the bottom of the ash drawer. It is a bit dusty in the photos and it does have a light patina of rust color on the inside but I know most of that is due to the natural gas combustion residue. And there is no ash inside and very little soot in the flue. I decided to leave it all original and not try to restore it as that might change its value and it does in fact need very little cleaning and perhaps some paint inside to make it look like new again. I found no cracks, scratches, or damage of any kind when I inspected it, and I do feel confident in its excellent condition, but I am selling it as-is, no warranties. It will come with the carbura

Single Burner Hiker Backpack Gas Stove, Storage Case Funnel US Army Field Stove?
This is a single burner. Backpack, camper gas stove. It burns Colman Fuel(white gas) It has fold-out pot holders on the top and fold-out legs on the bottom. It comes with a heavy gauge steel storage case and a small fuel funnel. It has operating instructions on the side posts. I can't find a maker's mark, only a Pat. No. and Made In U.S.A. From the looks of it I think it is a Military Field Stove. Just a guess. The stove measures approx. 8 1/4" high and 8 1/2" in the case. The case has some rust, corrosion and some white marks. The stove shows some sign of wear, but looks like it should work OK. All is solid. I did not light it. There is some rust on the underside of the fuel cap and on the fuel neck.
