Bronze shabraque badge for the US Army Veterinary Corps. Measures 2 1/4" by 2 1/8" Used screw on fasteners on the posts. Beautiful detail. Badge was fastened to the lower rear corner of an officer's shabraque(saddle blanket) They were widely used in European armies and used in the US during the Civil War. Usually embroidered on the blanket. Bronze badges are very rare, especially for the Veterinary Corps. Veterinary Corps was not founded until 1916 and was a small Corps. I do not know how long these were used but most likely only a few years. Here are two old Stainless Steel syringes. The largest one is the 40 CC model. It is nearly new condiiton. Works perfectly and it has no cracks or breaks or scratches. The small 10 CC one has no cracks or breaks in it. But it will not pull fluid up into it. The plunger part appears to be loose and worn too much inside. Probably needs bands replaced with new ones in order to make it work right. Both of the shanks have adjustable rings on them to allow only so much to be pushed out of them. These both need needles. Early Veterinary Medicine Horse Bit, Dr. LeGear’s, Embossed Brass Name Plate

The bit is made of heavy cast iron and has a brass or copper plate affixed that is embossed“Dr. LeGear’s Stock Remedies St. Louis. on the funnel portion of the bit. The overall size is about 8” x 8” The bit shows extensive overall surface rusting and pitting. I have not tried to it clean it in any way. Vintager Dr. Daniel's Veterinary Medicine Display Case
This medicine cabinet dates to the early 1900's. It measures 29" high and 21 1/2" wide and 7 1/2" deep. The body is in great condition and the tin. As you can see, has rust still is colorful though. The tin on the inside shows no rust. There is a small chip on the bottom corner(see pic) We have included some medicine bottles and tins. We feel for the age, it is in good condition. We do not ship out of the USA.

Veterinary Metal Flushing Syringe Large Animals Chrome (Over Brass ?) Looks Old
Large Animal syringe(flushing syringe? I know nothing about this item. I am doing my best to describe what I see and what I have found through research. I am happy to answer questions or send additional pictures. Chrome plated metal. Closed. It is 9.5" open is 12.5" The cylinder is 1 1/4" diameter. The opening is 3/10" The"insertion" portion is 2 1/2" long and is threaded, so I think the syringe can be used with addition tips. It has some wear. But seems to be in quite good shape. The red gasket at the insertion tip looks a bit worn, but can be replaced. Same with the gaskets on the plunger. The markings on the plunger are clear and easy to read. I will ship in an envelope to keep the cost down. If you want it shipped in a box. I will accommodate that, but the shipping price will be more. Please. US PayPal ... moreaccounts only.
