It has been tested with the following results: The YAG control unit powers on with no fault indications; All functions on the control console are available and responsive to keypad input. The laser fires and creates observable holes in test material. The optics are clear and bright at all magnifications. I don't have the key for the control console, but it is in the"on" position, so it is functional without the key. The Argon laser is ... morenot functional. The laser unit powers on. The fans start, and the power light comes on, but the display unit doesn't turn on. The power for the slit lamp on this system comes from the Argon laser, so the slit lamp does not have any illumination unless the Argon laser is functioning. The system can be set up as a stand-alone YAG, but you will need obtain the power supply that is used in the stand-alone systems.
