A collectors' item if we've ever seen one! A Stereomicroscope"I" by Carl Zeiss(West) Dating approximately to the 1950's-early 1960's(apologies for not being more precise but there is no serial number on the microscope) For reflected light observations. And complete with a removable stage central plate, a pair of stage clips, x6.3 Zeiss objective, one pair Zeiss x10 eyepieces, one pair Zeiss x25 eyepieces, and one pair 6V 15W illuminators on adjustable arms and complete with lampholders, working bulbs and the all-important black metal bulb shields to eliminate reflections into the observer's eyes. As a FREE GIFT, an additional pair of illuminators without lampholders is also included(please see below) The stand is of the"F" type. Which can be converted to transmitted illumination when the suitable Zeiss ... moretrans-illumination base is fitted(please note, no such base is included in this sale) Both the stand and the microscope tube are finished in the early"hammered grey" finish typical of Zeiss microscopes from that era. The fitted illuminators are finished in the slightly later cream-grey finish. And therefore we believe that they were fitted at a later stage in the microscope's history. The two extra illuminators supplied with this sale are in hammered grey finish, and therefore they are probably the ones fitted to the microscope at the time of production. Please note that these grey illuminators are non-working(the knurled rings are seized and cracked in various places) but they are included nonetheless in this sale as FREE GIFTS in the interest of historical accuracy. Complete with the original Zeiss dovetail-jointed wooden box with internal drawer. Transformer compartment, working lock and two keys. Both of the eyepieces are Bausch& Lomb and are both labeled 10x WIDE F. There are three objectives that slide on a dove tail. They are marked 1.2 and 4. The objectives move smooth into place with a click. The focus adjusts smooth as well. I don't know the model number but it looks to be from the 1940's? The mirror is cool with a left right as well as 2 axis rotation. It is a concave mirror on one side and flat matt white on the other. A Very cool vintage B&L scope suitable for use or display or both!

Nikon SMZ Quality Microscope System This Nikon SMZ microscope is an old school high quality zoom stereo body microscope that provides beautiful images. The microscope is in used condition. It was tested and the zoom is not turning and the adjustable stand is only going about half way up and down. I do not want to do something wrong so I will leave the repair up to the new owner. The scope has good clear optics and it provides a nice parfocal, aligned and focused image. There are cosmetic signs of wear on the microscope body from use(see images) but essentially clean. The last 2 photos were taken with my phones camera looking thru the microscope to show you the clarity. The microscope is mounted to a nikon adjustable stand that operates about half way. The microscope comes with 15x eye pieces. Along with the 0.8X- 4.0X zoom range. Total magnification ... morewill be 8X- 40X continuous. Swift M4000-D stereo microscope
Up for auction is a nice stereo compound microscope. It's got a X40 lens and X10 eyepiece which gives it a 400X magnification. It also have a camera attachment port. The microscope and the lenses are pretty clean. Works great. Only issue is a slight contact problem with the bulb. Bulb is good. You are bidding on a Vintage Baush& Lomb microscope in good condition. This is a cool old stereo microscope that still works good. It has 10x eyepieces and 3 objectives-10x. 43x, 97x. The base raises and lowers and it has an Iris mechanism installed under platform. There is also a vintage baush& lomb illuminator light that will fit under base for viewing slides and other. The eye pieces have some light corrosion where black coating has flaked off and there is some light corrosion starting on the exterior coating of objectives. It does not seem to affect viewing. It could probably use a good cleaniong as it has been in storage for a while. Also there is someone’s last name engraved on base. It does not look horrible but it is noticeable. The lens' all appear to be in great condition and there are no blemishes or problems with any of the accessories included. The silver hard case has a combination lock that I do not have the combination for and there is one clasp missing from the closure so the case does not completely close. This is for a Fisher Scientific StereoMaster Microscope. It has 2X and 4X objective lense sets. It has the original 10X eyepieces and an additional 20X set of eyepieces. The total magnification is 20X- 40X with 10X eyepieces. The total power with the 20X eyepieces is 40X and 80X. This is a high quality stereo microscope and has a very good picture.
