Kimray Corvascope Stereo Microscope Model S4E Oil Gas Leica Lens GdCnd NR!
Up for auction and from Debis Attic Gold of Oklahoma we have a corascope by Kimray of Oklahoma. This older unit is in very good working condition. We have tested it looking at diamonds and it works great. Lens are clear with no scratches. Adjusting knobs all work properly. Crystal clear results when viewing. The lens are Leica 10x/23– bi lens. Zoom works great. As does the table adjustment. Rotates as it should with no problems found or noted. The white light and black light both work with no issues noted. The plastic knobs do show some stains from previous use with red clay or mud. Red clay/mud/dirt from Oklahoma stains- Not really bad- just noting. This was used for oil and gas in Oklahoma. Does not have the original case. However the previous owner built a custom box for transport(not padded) Built of plywood with nice hinges. hello and welcome! i have got here n old AO Spencer stereo microscope made in the good OL' USA. i believe this design is from 30s? to mid 70s era. this is in great condition. i cleaned it through and through from top to bottom. And made sure everything is functioning properly. this is in fine condition. especially for its age. i acquired this from the botany department at the university i work at. Since they have long since gotten updated equipment, they donated these rather then throwing them out. i had many years experience with a wide variety of types and levels of microscope. in addition to my work in the lab. This is a heavy duty 15 lb. microscope made by the Bausch& Lomb company of Rochester. NY. It is a vintage scope and has 3 sliding perspectives(66, 1.3, 3) This scope uses reflective light and has an 8x4.5" glass plate. The scope is 13x8x8" One of the adjuster knobs is bent a little, but still functions perfectly. It could use a good cleaning. I used it and it works very well. There is a copper tag on the side that is hard to read. I believe it reads, SUNY-A MCR-3-5301.

An American Optical Stereo Star zoom microscope on a tilting base with an illuminator. It comes equipped with 15X wide field eyepieces. And the zoom range is 0.7X to 4.2X allowing for total magnification of 10.5X to 63X. Everything works smoothly. The optics look to be good but I do not know if the illuminator works as I do not have the correct adaptor for it. It is in good condition with some crevice dust from being stored in a watchmaker's workshop and some minor surface wear plus small paint chips. The glass stage plate has a small edge chip.
