Catalog number SZH-STAD2, for use with the SZH stereo microscope and to hold a standard Olympus mechanical stage on the 9cm diameter standard stage mount ring on top. Up for bids is a wonderful vintage Bausch& Lomb Greenough style stereo microscope(the Greenough system uses completely independent optical paths for the right and left sides. Both of which are focused at the same point on the sample. This particular example is one of the more elaborate configurations B&L offered in the 1960's. Three objective pairs can be quickly interchanged- all are attached to a common slide. The objectives included with this instrument include a 0.66x. A 2x, and a 6x. The oculars are a pair of wide-field 15x. The stand includes a separable base that is used for transmitted light applications. The mirror fork and mirror are present. But the mirror pretty dirty, I did not know if it was coated and did not want to risk cleaning it wrong. No about the case it is a prefect fit for the scope and has a screw down on the bottom to hold the scope in place but, two of the three latches on the front are broken and the handle is not there just some plastic zip ties. However, the handle hoops are there and secure so a new handle could be easily fitted to the case if wanted. But it is a heavy item to carry around close to thirty pounds.
