Coleman Junior II Spectrophotometer Model 6/20 Works
This listing is for the Coleman Junior II Spectrophotometer that you see in my photos. I purchased it at a university surplus sale. It measures about 16 inches wide by 14 inches deep by 7 inches high. It weighs about 29.5 pounds. The unit appears to be working. I do not know much about it but I did find instructions for its use on the internet and used those instructions to get an idea of how it works. It lights up and the spot of light moves when the settings are changed or something blocks the light in the cuvette well. I do not have any cuvettes to test it further. I have changed the settings with all of the dials to see that the readings change when the settings are changed. As far as I can tell. It is functioning and the dials are working fine. It might need some adjustments or servicing. I have not tested the plugs receptacles on the ... moreback. Relative to aspects that I have not tested, I am selling it“as is” and as described. The cosmetic condition is much like you see it in my photos. There is a tiny dent on the top. There is a small spot near the cuvette well where it looks like some of the enamel has worn off. The area around that spot looks a bit dull and there are some light spots in the general area. There are the remains of some tape on the back panel. There is a small strip of orange labeling tape on the top. There is some black enamel missing on the bottom. Otherwise. There are other signs of use that are minor.
