Has been used in a part time Dr office and we have upgraded to a newer model because the office is getting busy and crunched for time. This would be perfect for a 2nd lane in the office to increase your volume of patients without breaking the bank. It works good if the office is not too busy or crunched for time(hence starting in a 2nd lane) But it is just not as efficient as using one of the newer technology slit lamps on the market. I say it is not as efficient because you need to move your hand from the joystick to raise or lower the unit. It includes the table you see, but not the arm that attaches to the stand. It is in very good used condition. As you can see by the photographs it has a zoom feature of 1X to 1.6 X, as you can also see there is only one ocular, I have no idea where the fellow ocular is, if I should come across it at some point in the future I will send it to whomever is the winning bidder of this item. This head also has an applanation tonometer mounting pin attached, again this can be seen in the photos. After being in ophthalmology for over 45 years many slit lamps have come and gone. Great Slit Lamp and a Spring Loaed Table If Needed
This was my best slit lamp I used in my long career of fitting rigid contact lenses. That is even comparing it optically to even the Haag Streiht. The bulb even has a fan which makes them last longer. It has the stronger eye magnifiers with it also. I will also include a box of several bulbs for it and for other equipment like keratometers. By the way it will also come with this electric table and they both work great. This lamp also has bottom plate on it to use if you would rather have it on your chair stand and then have the electric table for other equipment.
