Calibrated zoom range is 7X to 30X, infinitely variable, with the included BRAND NEW wide-field WF10X/20 30mm diameter eyepieces, HIGH-RELIEF for very comfortable viewing with or without eyeglasses. The NIKON SMZ-1 ESD(electro-static discharge) is identical to the SMZ-1. Except that the pod is made of electrically conductive polymer that dissipates static electricity. A screw terminal shown on the pod back can be grounded(if desired) for PC board applications, to protect integrated circuits. The interocular distance is adjustable, there are dual diopter adjustments, and the boomstand has a wrist articulation.
