These work great, the glass is clear other than some external dust around the edges of the glass. The one side has a very small faint scratch on the glass piece that you put against your eye. It is not noticeable when you look through them. The focus ring is a little tight and requires two fingers to move it, but it does work, just probably needs re-oiled, thanks. Data anche l'età, sono molto buone, come spero si possa vedere dalle foto. Non particolarmente"pesanti" i segnetti d'uso. La parte più"rovinata" è il pin di battuta del blocco della messa a fuoco. Presente un pò di polvere interna. Dei segni da pulizia sulla lente, cose normali su obiettivi cosi anziani, anzi normalmente sono più"vissuti" Ottimo il diaframma per niente duro. It came from the estate of a doctor who had a large collection of microscopes. This was on a shelf in his home library. It appears to have been well taken care of. As to whether it is in working condition. My best guess is that it probably is functional, considering where it came from and how it was stored and displayed. Leica, Leitz Fernglas 08 Binoculars #33790 w/case
E. Leitz Wetzlar Fernglas 08#33790 This is a vintage pair of binoculars that is in"very good" condition for its age. They were manufactured in June 1916. I am not sure. But I think they are 6 x 30 magnification. The outer green paint is in poor condition with lots of scratches. There is a k engraved near the right ocular. The focusing is stiff. But functional on both sides. The glass is in great shape for its age. The case is intact. But the shoulder strap is missing and the remaining straps are torn and brittle. The outer cosmetics are not the best on the Leitz binoculars. But the glass is great which makes them very functional.
