Promax RG5000 recovery HVAC refrigeration air conditioning
I am selling my Promax RG5000 recovery unit for HVAC refrigeration/air contitioning. It was my personal unit until I got a deal on a Bachrach Stinger. It worked the last time I used it. And it is in decent shape. There are two known issues: 1) The high side gauge will not go below 50psi as shown in the picture. But it does work for anything above 50psi. This was never a huge deal for me since I never had that much pressure in the tank at one point anyways. 2) The last time I used the unit. About 5 months ago, I noticed that I lost some refrigerant, and after closer examination, I found that the refrigerant was leaking from the Brass Purge Plug on the front of the unit. So the unit will need a new o-ring washer for the purge plug. I don't know if there was another spot it got lost at. So for that reason, the unit will be sold as is with ... moreno returns. this is a really ultra cool icemaker! been used and loved for its incredible effectiveness in producing lots of ice in a short space of time- the official bumph says 12 bullets of ice every 10 mins but when its set to make small ice blocks.
