Unusual JOLLE Auto or Bike? Old Style Tire Valve Stem Core Tie Clip Bar Clasp
Thanks to a helpful eBayer. I now know what the item is on the tie clip, it's a tire valve stem core. My husband is a tie guy and wears one everyday and sometimes with a tie clasp but we do not know what or who this one represents. The last picture shows me pushing in the pin or piston which compresses the spring. When released, the pin returns to its original position. The clasp is made by JOLLE and is marked as such. Length is just under 1 3/4 inches and width is 1/4 inch. The gold tone metal is bright and shiny with a very few fine marks or scratches from being rarely worn. The clip is sturdy and closes firmly. I bought this brand new about a month or so ago from the manufacturer to replace a valve core on my car's air conditioning system. It works on the standard valve core sizes. I used it one time. And now I have no more use for it, so I'd like to just resell it. It is like new, being only used one time. What this tool does is allows you to repair or replace standard a/c valve cores on your car without losing your R134a charge. I can't find the box. But if I do before it sells, it will ship in the box. If not, it'll be repackaged. There were no instructions included when I bought it, but it's easy enough to use and figure out.
