The system consists of a master control and PC interface station and up to five instrument docking modules for complete two-way instrument communication. To start any calibration or operational testing. Simply place an instrument into one of the customized docking modules. All of the work is now done by the DS1000. It will start communication with the instrument to determine its status. As soon as an instrument is placed on a docking module, communication between the master control unit and the instrument commences. This communication is the key to a successful gas detection program. The instrument's profile is stored in the database of the computer for quick reference. If there are any changes necessary for instrument settings, the operator has the option to change the preset values and the instrument will be updated automatically when connected. This is a used Rotator in average used condition. It runs well and has some corrosion on the tube clips. This is smaller than most rotators we have seen. The wheel is about 6 1/4 inches in diameter. It has 15 clips on the outer edge and 16 on the wheel face. The clips are for 30 mL tubes. Please note that you have to supply an attachment that fits your application- a cup for vial shaking. Etc. This model features a touch or continuous mode of operation; The continuous mode operates through an adjustable 10 minute timer, while the touch mode has a 0-60 second range.
