This unit was made by BW Technologies which is owned by Honeywell. It is called a Gas Alert Extreme single gas hand held detector. The manufacturer's model# is GAXT-A-DL and the serial# is J409-A010966. This unit is used to measure Ammonia concentrations in confined areas. The range it will measure is 0-100 PPM. The factory settings are 25 PPM low 50 PPM High TWA 25 PPM STEL 35 PPM. I have also included the gas regulator used to calibrate the unit which it does not come with it. This unit comes with the box. Instructions, calibrating regulator and CD disk. These units new sell for around $400.00. This unit works fine but they are supposed to be calibrated every six months and this one is due.
