Vintage 1950's? Folding Rescue Stretcher. Aluminum frame with canvas type cover. Cover does have some fading where it was sticking out of the storage bag. And there is one tear in the covering. It is old and weaker than it was when new but it does not seem"dry rotten" I would think it would make an interesting display piece more than something that could be used these days. It's probably at least 50 years old. Does have a cloth bag type cover that is soiled and worn and torn. Approximately 6 feet long when opened up. Approximately 19-1/2 inches wide and stands approximately 7-1/2 inches off the ground. When folded it is approximately 37-1/2 inches long. UP FOR CONSIDERATION: Vintage Nylint Fire Rescue Van This is a nice rare one! I am not finding any on eBay especially in this condition. Comes with the Original Stretcher which is about the size of a dollar bill. I did not take it out because I did not want to break anything however it should be removable. Doors are in working condition, although they are tight. S tickers/Labels are in good condition- one side does have slight rubbing of the scroll work and the F in Fire. Light Bubble on top has no cracks. Front Windshield has no cracks however it does have minor scratches. Ford Name on front appears to have been touched up with White Paint, Tires are in good condition and all of them have Ford Hubcaps. There is some rust on back bumper, paint chipping on bottom and rear and one side. Someone tried touching up some of the body with red paint ... moreas you can see in the pictures. Made in Rockford Ill USA along with Nylint Toys stamped on bottom. Could use a gentle cleaning. Overall in nice condition for its age.
