And the backlighting is alternately on and off, but emits a pulsing tone which I assume is meant to call your attention to an error or some other issue. As it isn’t connected to any sensors I don’t know that that indicates a fault in the unit. But it is also unresponsive to the keypad as well. I have bought and sold a few Siemens Sitrans F 1010 Flowmeters. And the ones that I powered up were responsive to the keypad. There is a switch inside to disable the keypad. That isn’t the issue(or at least I don’t think it is. So to be cautious I am offering this as Not Working. For parts or repair. Could simply be a case of operator error.
