The graduations, numbers are very readable. There is damage to the item on the inside, the runner is split at one end as shown in last picture. Overall i say this is in okish condition. Every number and marking is readable the stamp marks are also readable, however there is a split along the inside rail, this ideally needs gluing back in place to prevent damage to the piece. The item has NOT been cleaned. It could do definitely with one, but i will leave that to an expert. The rule is a length of 30 inches. Starting at 10 and ending at 40 this can be doubled so roughly 60 inches length when expanded Please see photos for details. I've set a small starting price on this wonderful rule. The base is 5.200” square with 4 counter-bored thru holes for mounting with 1/4” bolts. The rotating fixture is approximately 4” square and has 4 end plates bolt on all four sides. These end plates have 5 total 4-40 threaded holes for work holding. The face of the rotating fixture has 12 total 1/4-20 threaded holes. 12 total 10-32 threaded holes and 26 total 4-40 threaded holes. The rotating fixture is locked into place by 4 T-nuts. ERON Rotary/Swivel Workholding Support Fixture. 6-1/2" Diameter with 1" apart taped holes(in a 4"x 4" square pattern) 360 degree measure in 1 degree increments. I am not sure if the rotating workholding fixture was made by a toolmaker or by the Eron Tooling Company since the base appears to be a swivel base for a vise(I have no clue) The item functions perfectly and is very tight/rigid but turns smoothly when the rotary table loosened for adjustment. I purchased it a few years back and used it on my Sieg and Clausing milling machines more than any milling vise or other workholding fixture. It is a very nice piece that was made to precision and has been very well taken care of. Please be assured that the fixture functions perfectly as it should. No engravings/inscriptions anywhere.
