The graduations, numbers are very readable. There is damage to the item on the inside, the runner is split at one end as shown in last picture. Overall i say this is in okish condition. Every number and marking is readable the stamp marks are also readable, however there is a split along the inside rail, this ideally needs gluing back in place to prevent damage to the piece. The item has NOT been cleaned. It could do definitely with one, but i will leave that to an expert. The rule is a length of 30 inches. Starting at 10 and ending at 40 this can be doubled so roughly 60 inches length when expanded Please see photos for details. I've set a small starting price on this wonderful rule. Sine Plate 3.5"x6" - tilting milling machine fixture, very high quality
This is a used but excellent and high quality 3.5" x 6" machinist's sine plate. I don't know the make. But it seems high quality enough to be German, US or Japanese made. The hinge has no play whatsoever, very tight. Buyer pays actual shipping for a package approximately 4.5" x 6.5" x 9" and 11 lbs, with no additional handling or packing charges.
