The housing is about 14" in diameter and about 36" in overall length. This is 316 stainless steel. There is no pressure rating stamped that we can find, but the lid is extremely thick and weighs over 70 lbs by itself. The housing appears to be over 1/8" thick stainless. The upper and lower sanitary ports have a spherical attachment with fine holes drilled around the perimeter as shown which presumably was used to hold a filter attachment. These can be easily unclipped which leaves the ports fully open if desired. Shipping is a flat $175 to business addresses within the continental US.

The tapered hub is a valuable option difficult to find on these type units that allows for better compression and water removal from solids. An adjustable back pressure disc is used to control the extent to which product is compressed and the degree of water removal through the strainer/screen. The hole size in the strainer and the number of holes reduces as the outlet is approached. A small screw conveyor/auger will be required to pull product from the outlet. This unit was removed from a seafood plant where it was used to dewater seafood byproduct; it was in working order when the plant was decommissioned. This is an NGK Japanese brand. Model NS 400.
