The plate's filter cloth appears intact and the plate gaskets still feel pliable to the touch. I'm told that both had been replaced not long ago. There is no residual oil present from any of the hydraulic components including the main cylinder. W hen I powered the unit for testing, the plates close together tightly and the hydraulic system rose to it's adjusted pressure of approximately 2600 PSI.
