Filters have 3" inlet and discharge. Stainless steel construction, 150 PSI@ 350 GPM and automatic change over when pressure limit reached. Continuous. Uninterrupted filtering of large flows of liquid is provided by these automatic duplex filters When the filter bags on one side get to the point of requiring change-out. The incoming flow is automatically diverted to the clean filter bags on the other side. Maintenance personnel are alerted to the need to change the dirty filters so that the system will be ready for the next cycle. Typical step-by-step operation As the filter bags in vessel A become so loaded with particulate that the differential pressure increases to a selected level. A switch actuates an air-operated valve in the loop pipe. This diverts a small flow of fluid to fill vessel B. After enough time to equalize the pressure ... morein the two vessels, the four main valves are actuated by an air cylinder. The duplex valve system shifts four valves at once. Closing the inlet and outlet on vessel A and opening the two on vessel B. An indicator light(and remote signal, if desired) shows that vessel B is now being utilized. Another light shows that the shift from one vessel to the other has occurred, and that filter bags need to be replaced. An electrical interlock prevents another shift cycle until the dirty filter bags have been replaced and the operator has pushed a reset button. With the interlock released. Nowata Bag Filter Stainless Steel Water Filter 450 gpm
This is a very heavy duty solid 316 stainless steel bag filter housing. The housing has 4" 250 lb stainless steel flanged connections. The housing holds three bags. Max flow per bag is about 150 gpm, total flow for the housing is 450 gpm. If you want to run it as a pump strainer with no bags you could probably run 600 gpm with very little pressure loss. I put up a photo of the lid. You can see how thick this housing is. This is called a handwheel davit lid. The lid is too heavy for the average person to lift and if it dropped on your foot it would hurt. So the handwheel davit is turned to raise the lid then swivel it to the side. This housing has swing bolt connections and is very conservatively rated at 150 psi. It has Buna orings ideal for water. The stainless steel baskets are all in place. We can supply you with a case of extended ... morelife polypropylene bags(30 bags) of any micron you choose along with your purchase. If I had to guess this housing weighs 500 lbs or more of solid stainless steel. Current cost on a housing like this is about $13.000. The construction quality of this housing is first class. You can't compare this to the band clamp stainless housings that come from China and claim the same pressure ratings with the thickness of a tin can. You could bang on this thing all day with your wood baseball bat and you will not put a dent in this housing. This is high quality Made in USA. This would be great for the entry of a commercial building or other commercial process. If you want to run chemicals we can supply Viton orings at an additional cost to do so.
