Pa USA' I have no way of telling if this is in working order- could still work perfectly. But selling as a display item. Both needle move when the meter is moved. There is an internal light bulb- see photo. Paper label on the back has what appears to be a date of 89' or 09' which looks to be about the right time period. Nice looking instrument. This is a nice pair of old electrical doohickeys. The knife switch is 6 inches by 3 inches. The other thing is 5 and 1/2 inches by 3 and 1/2 inches. The knife switch has a tiny crack in the part where the fuse screws in. It does not affect the integrity of the piece which is solid. The pieces are dirty but very nice. Antique 1900s 10s GE Brass& Porcelain Rotary Switch Electric Steampunk 5 AMP. Antique rotary electrical switch from the 1900's or possibly 10's. Manufactured by General Electric and rated at 5 Amps/125 Volts. Porcelain base with nickle-plated brass cover. Most rotary switches you will see have a bakelite turn knob. But this one has a brass knob with ball ends. Mounts directly to wall or other flat surface. Wires pass through holes in back to clamp screws inside. Cam inside passes the current through the switch or stops it depending on position. Clockwise switch rotation. Cover is easily removed by turning knob counter-clockwise. A smaller rotary switch with a base diameter of 1 13/16" Could be an interesting addition to a steampunk project. Switch hits its positions perfectly with a nice. Firm action. It has a great brass tag, the motor is free and turns pretty easily, it makes a little noise, I think the bushings are just dry, it does need rewired, and checked out. The motor case is in great shape no cracks or chips, mounting holes are good. It is untested and sells as is. Here is a very old antique Weston model 5 No. 1794 portable shunt for use with their electric meter. In VG condition, 3-1/8" X 5-5/8" and stands 2-1/4" to top of rear binding posts(turned down) tested and both shunt coils show continuity, all brass and bakelite binding posts complete and in excellent shape, wood box(looks like mahogany) in nice shape with no cracks or chips but note that the original varnish is dry and cracked. All original brass screws are here, as are the original feet.

The gauge reads 0 to 80 AMPS, and is serial# 64927. Gauge is encased around the outside with brass, and the brass also skirts up the front of the gauge and frames the glass readout. Gauge has not been tested simply because we are unsure of test procedure, and do not want to ruin the gauge. yet the needle is free and moves about whenever the gauge is moved. Very unique piece.
