Antique copper, tea or water kettle, spout has cover, removeable wood stove ring
This kettle has markings on the handle that read: JCS ALS and then a 1 with a 5 laying on it's side and an L. There are no problems with this that a good cleaning wouldn't cure but I felt that the buyer would want to do that to be sure it was done right. No writing on the bottom and I don't know what country it came from. The only dings that I could see is the tiny one that you can see in the close-up of the spout and a couple more on the cover. The serving and unique pieces seem to be the hardest to find so I am glad to offer my"Osborne" double spout pitcher in very good condition with no chips. Marks or cracks. There are some small original glaze faults that were present at the factory. The Flow Blue colors are great and very beautiful& bold in the piece. The pattern has classy elegant raised dots and scalloped edges with a fine gold gilted band rim that does show some wear. The piece was said to be a display piece or kept in storage and never used. I am not positive what exactly this piece's intended use is but looks like a small pitcher 4-1/2" tall ... morewith dual spouts. Nice Vintage Serving Pitcher. Estate find and well cared for. Made by Tabor& Tibbitts Silver Co. Who was only in business from 1919 to 1941 Marked with T&T. A Drum with E& P on either side and NS underneath. Normal age and use wear with fine surface scratches. But no dings, dents or deep scratches; No silver loss. Inside is very clean with some spots on the bottom. I cleaned it to check for silver loss. But it could use a little more cleaning. 9 5/8" High; 9 5/8" from spout to handle; weighs 1 pound. 12 ounces. Payment is duie within 5 days after auction close. If any questions.
