Vintage Encore Chrome Covered Humbuckers (single coiled)
Here is a set of older Encore Chrome Covered Humbuckers. These are not true humbuckers but are rather a single coil in a humbucker mounting. These came out of a 1976 Japanese Encore Les Paul. The ohms are 5.5k& 4.7K. They have a very warm. Vintage sound with moderate gain. I am not going to use them for anything so here they are. Only thing included are the pickups. Vintage all original Encore Hummingbird Acoustic Guitar with hummingbird on the pick guard. The guitar is a sunburst and completely checked over from head to toe. This is a mahogany construction with a laminated spruce top and a rosewood fingerboard and the frets are actually still in pretty good shape. This is the real deal vintage Japanese guitar and although it is worn pretty bad the function is still totally fine. The frets are flattened some, but there is plenty of meat, the top is flat, the bridge is secure, the action is low without buzzing and the keys are original and in good shape. This also has an original Japanese case, but a couple of the latches are missing. The case still holds up with the couple of latches that are there, but you may want to have new latches put on if you are going to be doing a lot of transportation with ... morethis guitar. This definitely would have been a beginner's guitar when it was made. But it's still supercool, this is a vintage piece, with the hummingbird pickguard, original case and the vintage look. Including a great pelican case(a $150 value in itself! that i've used to fly with this unit many times. It comes with a nikon mount, but other mounts are available for other lenses(sorry, not included) I used to use this with my sony ex-1, so i will also include the 72mm-77mm step-up ring i used to attach it to the front element of the sony. it will work with almost any 1/3" or 1/2" chip cameras, including the hvx200 ect. it comes with the adaptor, flip module, and camera base(both tall and short) i'm also throwing in two 18" aluminum rods made by redrock, and of course all the shims you might need depending on the exact size and shape of your camera. i'll also throw in some extra ... morerecharagable batteries and the charger. with these batteries, you're good to go for 10 hours on a charge. the m2 encore is much better than the original m2. The winning bidder gets all 38 pieces for one price! This lot consists of 12 table/soup spoons-12 teaspoons-10 dinner forks- 2 master butter knives-2 sugar spoons. Research indicates these were manufactured in the 1930’s. This beautiful flatware weighs in at almost 3 lbs. before wrapping and packing. Another nice Korean example of the Gibson L5. No visible serial number: 25_1/2" scale. Appears to have a 6 layer top binding(might be 5 layer. But I think I count 6) The DC reading for each pickup is shown. Please note position of the toggle switch. The guitar plays great and sounds great. The strings. At the 12th fret are about.028 of an inch(that would be like the string gauge of 28) or two stacked business cards or about 1/16" The height at the last fret was only three stacked business cards or about 0.044" or about 3/32" At the 12th fret. You can slide two cards under the strings and they are"stuck" with the guitar standing perpendicular(neck ... moreup) Both. This and the Vantage archtop guitar listed, belonged to the same gentleman.
