Antique Sewing roll-up and Pin Cushion? Americana, Country, Primitive
Here are 2 antique sewing items. The first is a sewing roll up. I believe the fabric is wool on the outside. It it lined on the inside and has a crimson velvet pocket which is worn. The fabric on the outside is in very good condition with the exception of some moth holes along the border(pictured in number 6) There are some holes on the inside fabric(pictured) as well as more than 15 needles. This is 6 1/2" long and 3" wide. I also have a hand-stitched pin cushion? measuring 4 1/4" square. It has about 1/2" of filling and there are also a few pin holes visible in the mustard-colored fabric which makes me think maybe this was for pins. I've had it for so long. I really don't remember what it was sold as. I bought it because I loved the fabrics and the corner decorations.
