I don't know anything about this spax. It's just an acquisition I've made somehow. It's sturdy and solid. And is half tang as well. The head is stainless steel and the handle is heavy duty ribbed rubber. It had some rust on the blade so I treated it with automotive rust remover. Scrubbed it clean with a stiff wire brush, and applied several coats of Rust-oleum Specialty High Heat Ultra. Finally I dug out my trusty whetstone and went to work on the edge. I tried to test it out but my wife's cat wouldn't hold still. Trust an old Army guy though. It's sharp. Yours for $22.51. The photos depict the exact item you will recieve.
