Horseshoe Magnet Very Strong
Here is a horseshoe magnet that measure 1 5/8" x 2 2/8" x 2 5/8" and is very strong. Pile of steel bars I picked up weighs just under 10 lbs and the coil spring compressdor it picked up weighs just under 20 lbs. Might pick more or less depending on shape of item you try to lift with it. Might be good for treasure hunting in lakes and rivers. Not sure what it's original used was. MAGNET MOTOR w/25 SUPER STRONG RARE EARTH NEODYMIUM MAGNETS N52 COLLECTIBLE
This is a rare find for most people since most people who have them don't sell them. I designed and buildt this magnetic pulse motor designed to run off the gauss of these super stong magnets. There is a cylinder in the center of the motor that is the main drive shaft.It has 4 magnets all showing their positive side all are equal space from each other. Their is room for 4 more magnets on this cylinder that were all showing their negative side. On the back of the drive shaft is a six inch nylon gear that keeps the magnets all in time. There is a allen wrench adjustment that tightens the gear to each of the shafts to position the magnets in time. There are 4 more smaller shafts all positions around the larger drive shaft each one is holding two magnets but have room for four magnets on each. These smaller shafts are all connected to the ... morelarger drive shaft by a two inch nylon gear. Each one is positioned at a slight difference in timing from the other so as to affect the timing in different stages of push and full. These are all in the positve side of these magnets are showing their positive side out. All the magnets that have been taken off are here. Plus a few extra.The shafts are all set into permanant bearings. There are 25 magnets each of a NdFeB grade 52 each one is 1/2" Thick X 1" Wide X 2" Long these are extremely strong and can hurt you if you dont handle them properly. If they attach to each other you will need help to remove they have a pull force of about 275 pounds each. I found that sliding them out to the ends away from them other helps, and I wear leather gloves when handling. This motor was first put together in 1998 and ran at about 600 rpm and with about 35 horse power. I have been disabled from work for a little over two years. Now my wife has lost her job so something has to go. The motor is not running right now, but I will include diagrams and timing instructions as well any viable ifo needed on the motor. We don't know much about these beyond the fact that we do not have the combined strength to slide them apart! This auction is for a very heavy duty and strong horseshoe shaped USAF Magnet. I have no idea where the Magnet originated but is possibly from an Airplane? The magnet was made by the RAYTHEON Company. RAYTHEON makes many products for our Military. I also do not know the age of this magnet. Magnet measures 10.5" tall x 6.25" x 3.75" and weighs 21 pounds 13 ounces. I do not know how to measure the strength of the magnet but I can tell you it is very strong! This magnet has four legs with mounting holes plus two more mounting holes on the side. There are several paper labels on the magnet. Please view photo's"ENLARGED" to read all the numbers etc that are on the labels. This will ship in a large flat rate priority ship box. A Very Very Cool Magnet!
