It came as new old stock"NOS" from a closed bicycle shop(had never been used) It was then mounted on a vintage French bike build for one week. The stem does have a couple of scratches in the gloss black finish above the minimum insertion line. It could easily be touched up with some black paint. This is a high quality stem made in Italy by Cinelli. A beautiful piece for any classic road machine. It comes with the original packaging and five rubber spacer/washers in blue. Black, white, red, and yellow. These spacers alone can cost 12.00 USD each. The original box is in one piece, mostly, but is old and shows it. The plastic has cracks and yellowing.
