Camillus Vint. Red Cub Scout Pocket Knife w Blade, Punch and Bottle Opener
I have up for bid a vintage Camillus Made in NY Cub Scout red pocket knife. This knife has a sharp 2 1/4 inch blade with the owner's name etched on it. I assume that it can be rubbed out. It also has a bottle opener and a leather punch. It measures ~ 3 1/4 inches in length. This knife is in good condition with some staining on the blade and some light wear on the grips. It has brass housings and the chain loop is intact. It could probably use a good cleaning. Please note that I ship only within the USA and accept only PayPal. Insurance. Etched on the main blade"Premium Punch Knife 7374" Two of the three blades are marked on the tang"Boker Solingen Germany" All 3 blades have a good snap. Main blade is 3" spay is 2" and the punch is 2" as well, closed it is 4" All blades have a little pre-pitting discolor and markings but nothing serious. Since knives are not in my area of expertise. I will have to leave the particulars of this knife to the experts and will provide as much information as I can. Based on my research, and the obvious features of this folding knife, it is an E. C. Simmons Keen Kutter 3 blade, with punch, whittler's knife and has what I believe is an ebony handle(but I am not certain) The handle measures 3 5/8" long and when the blades are extended it is 7 1/2" It has a silver colored metal shield shaped emblem embedded on one side of the handle and is marked E. C. Simmons Keen Kutter in several areas on the blades. Although I am not familiar with the knife collector's condition"lingo" I believe that it is important to collectors that the blades operate well and of course that there are no damages. Consequently, I will say that the ... moreblades are very sturdy and go in and out of the handle well(and stay there until needed) and I do not see any cracks/dings to the wooden handle.
