Butane can be obtained at many retailers for a reasonable price. When filling please make sure all gas is expelled from the tool by gently pressing the refill nozzle tip to release pressure(might have to use small ... moreflat tip screwdriver) emphasis on gentle. Once all pressure is released you can then press the butane onto the device, holding the butane upside down. Once filled you want to use up all the butane before refilling. This is the same process used to refill lighters. This Portasol device will be shipped to you guaranteed to work. Any modifications or damage done to it while filling it. Selling a large lot of soldering equipment. I pulled this kit from a storage auction so I am not exactly sure what each piece is. I tried to take close enough pics for all to see.
