This is a great beginners system for digital underwater photography(snorkeling or SCUBA) I have used it for two major SCUBA diving trips to the Florida Keys and the Cayman Islands in the past 18 months(35 logged dives total) You will need to find a Sea and Sea YS series strobe for dives below 15– 20 feet as the camera based flash unit is not that powerful. I bought this camera system here on ebay unopened so I was the first person to use it only once then I recharged the battery put it back in the box and I have not used it since but I just tried to charge the battery to sell it but the led light will not light on the ac adapter.my voltmeter is saying that the ac adapter has no power the battery is reading only a little and may still be good.I decided to sell this because even though I used it for dock fishing I bought it for ice fishing and the local lake no longer freezes over so I hope that you can use this thing and I am sorry that it is not working yet when you buy it.thanks any questions?

I recently bought a collection of mostly vintage Nikon camera equipment from the widow of a retired Associated Press photographer. She told me these cameras and lenses photographed Pope John Paul, President Jimmy Carter, Paul McCartney, Sting and many many other notable personalities. Although some items need cleaning,I'm not a photographer but I know enough to know not to try to clean them myself, they need special cloth, cleaning solution,etc. Though I have not tried to use any of the pieces I include a condition description, most are in great shape, just need a little cleaning, a few have some issues- see item descriptions for details. It has a large, high eye point viewfinder so you can see from up to 40mm away while wearing your dive mask. It is easy to use and won't disappoint. This thing is mint inside and out. You won't find a used Nikonos V in better shape. Comes with spare o rings and most of a tube of Nikonos O ring Grease. You will need nothing more than film and batteries to get started. Lens: W Nikkor 35mm f/2.5 for the Nikonos camera. The Nikonos uses five different lenses. Some for underwater only, some for land only, and this one, the crown jewel of Nikonos lenses because it is made for both land and sea. It is the surf-n-turf of lenses. This lens is in fantastic shape. The only negatives for these items are the original boxes which are in not in great shape. They aren't dented or anything like that. Just worn out. The original sytrofoam is included and the lens still has the plastic bag it was inside originally. The camera has some surface marks on the metal battery chamber clip and tripod socket.
