Barbs are found pointed, made from a diamond shaped piece of sheet metal. Each of two longer ends of diamond are split, and plate is twisted at right angles to make and"X" shape. Vintage 1970s Mid Century Industrial Hanging Lamp - Perforated Sheet Metal
This listing is for a vintage hanging lamp from I'm guessing the 1970s. Made from a cream/tan perforated sheet metal. Has some interesting design qualities. I don't know the manufacturer or designer. And not sure if it is worth knowing. It measures 26" in circumference and 10" at the highest point. The cord is 58" long. Works very well with some bright light. Has been used(not by me) but looks good- just has one or two spots(rust? on the outside. This lamp came from a friend's collection who moved away. They collected a variety of mid-century design in furniture and objects. And this is just one of them. I put it at a reasonable price and cheap buy-it-now as it's cluttering my house.
