Our consignor on this item managed an abandoned WW II Seaplane hanger that was located adjacent the HK-1/ Spruce Goose hanger on Terminal Island. This lot comes with a hand-signed Letter of Authenticity signed by the manager of the(WW II) Seaplane hanger with supporting documents related to the seaplane hangers years in business as a location for filming. The drawing was rendered on a vellum-like onion paper similar to that used by architectural design firms. You can see and feel the age of the paper. Although it is holding up quite well due to the quality of it. You can't see the beautiful detail work on this drawing.
