Gold Melting Furnace and Accesories! Get Started Fast!
This auction is for a gold melting furnace and accessories. This is a great way to start melting for much less than buying a new furnace. Unlike new furnaces this comes with everything you need but the crucible! I ordered this furnace a little over a year ago and its worked great for me! It takes a while to heat up to temperature. About 30-40 minutes. The unit must also be left to cool down completely between melts. I'm unsure of the specs as far as size of unit and the name of it. It melted 1 pound bars of silver for me and it looked big enough for me to melt 2 pounds if i wanted to as the crucible was never more than half full. The melter is capable of temperatures as high as 1100c and 2012f which is enough to melt gold. Silver and copper as well as other various metals. There is everything you need to start melting here besides a crucible ... moreas my old one had to be thrown out and I have no more to include with the unit. They run for about 40$ each. Also the quartz stir stick has been lost but can be ordered on eBay for fairly cheap. It was part of a fairly cheap kit ordered on this site. The safety goggles came in a kit I ordered with the gloves. It is cheap and I would not recommend using them on a regular basis. I used them but they will not protect your hands from molten metal! They are good for holding the tongs though. The heat try was an 80$ heat tray made out of some material I do not remember. It will protect against molten metal.
