Here is a beautiful amber glass pitcher and glasses by Hazel-Atlas in the Eldorado pattern. Has a coin size dots on the inside. Also referred to as coin dot/ Capri dot/ Raindrop/ Honeycomb Pattern The 64-oz Pitcher is 7 1/2" Tall. 5.5" in diameter at the rim tapering to 4" diameter at the base. This pitcher has large excised dots on the inside of the pitcher and an orange-peel textured design no the bottom of the pitcher. This pitcher is in good condition for its age. There are no chips. Nicks or cracks. Wonderful amber coloring with 1" dot/ raindrop patterning all the way around. Small pour spot for easy pouring into glasses. Handle is in good shape as well and securely attached. Occasional air bubble and stretch markings in the glass indicative of glassware items made during this time period. DRESDEN 6" by 10" DECORATED COMPOTE
For your consideration. A 6" tall, 10" diameter compote with an older Dresden mark. The compote was damaged at some point and professionally restored. Structurally the restoration was well done- you have to look hard to see the break lines. The repainting of the break lines, however, has yellowed with age resulting in an"orange-ish" appearance(shown in photos) I'm unsure if this is the result of the pigments used or the glue used to rejoin the pieces- it is what it is. This is a beautiful set of 6 Vintage 10 oz. Etched Crystal Stemmed Wine Glasses with a Wheat Pattern. They measure 6-1/2" tall. With a 2-3/4" diameter rim, a 2-5/8" base, and a 2-1/2" stem. These glasses came from an estate and therefore I am not familiar with their history or manufacturer. It is my understanding. However, that they are Vintage. It was printed by the American Banknote Company. The bond was issued in 1920 and was due on 1st Apri. Interest was paid biannually on the 1st of April and October. 1940.
