3 axis bipolar stepper driver and 3 motors plus software
Included in the box- one 3 axis driver with breakout board. 3 bipolar motors and free software. I made this 3 stepper motor driver board myself. It uses 2amp per motor drivers that can drive 4 wire. 5 wire or 6 wire motors, the type found in printers and scanners etc. I wired it all up, so just plug in a power supply- I used a cheap 12v 2amp power supply, but it can take up to 24v 6amp, or even more, and connect it to a parallel port on your computer. Be careful if things start to get hot, it means too many volts/amps usually. Just unplug. 12v at 2 to 3amps seems good. Because each driver can drive motors up to 2amps each- 6amps total. It's capable of driving quite strong, and therefore useful motors, 3 included. I found some free software on the net. I managed to drive two motors at a time. But it says it can drive 4. I couldn't ... morefigure out how to drive four. I got two at a time working. Maybe you can, figure out how to drive the 4 motors. I will include the software and also a link to the software. On a cd. It doesn't work with mach cnc software. Unless you modify the boards, and I don't know how to do that. There is a youtube clip that shows how. The drivers can drive both unipolar or bipolar motors. When using a 5 wire unipolar motor. Only connect 4 wires, leave out the common wire. I am also including 3 strong motors that I pulled out of plotters. They are 4 wire bipolar motors. In the pic is a large motor and a little motor- I will include 3 of these larger type. The little motor is the type you get with the chinese boards. And I put it in for comparison. Everthing you need to make a small cnc. Go on buy it!
