Hi, for sale is used Galil DMC-1880 PCI motion controller. Works with mach3 via a plugin. Comes with 2 long 100 pin cables for the breakout boards. I have 2. So one has to go. To run it on a machine you will need for 4 axis- 1 DMC-1900 or DMC-2900 breakout boards. On ebay at around 100 euro each. Or 2 of them for more than 4 axis. So quite cheaply can be formed a great setup. Especially if you make a pro machine. Where 6 axis will not be enough. X. Y,Y,Z+rotary+spindle+possibly rising dust shoe+possibly changer will not fit in 6 axis card! The Galil separate axis can be programmed independently easily and so on. Or simply the cables can be cut at the side of the enclosure and fashioned a cheap termination board. As most of the signals are opto isolated in the controller I tested it as far as i could and updated to latest firmware. NEMA 23 Steppers + Breakout board + Drivers CNC kit (spares / repairs)
This is a set of some CNC parts. It doesn't seem to work properly despite my best efforts. The motors have very little torque. I believe there is a fault within the drivers, as the stepper motors run very hot regardless of the current setting. One of the stepper motors burnt up hence it not being included in the sale. The two steppers may have suffered damage from excess heat/ current- I can't be sure if they're 100% or not. One of the driver boxes is missing it's cover. The plastic around some of the connectors is damaged slightly. CD with instructions included. Sold as spares/ repairs!
