Up for sale today is a Benshaw Solid State 150 HP soft starter. This was included to drive a large pump the company I work for purchased. And while it worked fine as installed, we've since upgraded to a VFD to run a fully closed loop system and improve our facilities. It is being sold because we simply don't need it anymore as our system has been upgraded beyond its capabilities. Includes the main board, breaker, hour meter, ampacity monitors, step down transformer and all interconnecting wires and misc hardware. I'll also include additional pictures showing how it was all hooked up with the buttons and malfunction indicators in the cabinet. According to the hour meter(which is included) it had 1686 hours on it when it was removed a couple weeks ago. It has been stored indoors in a dry crated skid since that time. 20 hp rotary phase converter with starter motor
20 hp rotary phase converter. For converting single phase 208/220/240 VAC to 3 phase. This converter is cosmetically challenged. But is made from high quality components and is built to last. It was used lightly for 1.5 years until I moved into a shop that has 3 phase power and no longer need it. The phases are balanced to within ~ 5 vac of each other. I had no problem running my CNC milling machines with them. Includes a running indicator light, emergency off switch and keyswitch. Starter motor gets the larger motor spinning, which works nicer than capacitor start models. Uses a A.O. Smith 20 HP 3 phase motor. It is a great running converter on a very sturdy frame that can be moved around with a pallet jack.
