2 Pcs Faulhaber Gearhead Minimotor SA Mini DC Motor Encoder Assembly
You get two each of a Faulhaber Gear motor and shaft assembly. German motor. Swiss gearbox marked 16/5, 22:1 ratio, 24 volt dc with rubber belt as shown. Starts turning at around 1 1/2 volts and I actually ran the one I dissassembled up to 40 vdc ith no complaints. Motor has 2" black and red leads ending in a mini plug. Since I know nothing about the encoder(I guess it's an encoder) I cannot say if or how it works. It has a very thin steel plate with about 40 or 50 very thin. Closely spaced slots(see photo) and 7 wires coming off the board. The motor and shaft can only turn one direction due to a one way clutch on the encoder shaft. If you interested in the components: the shaft is.187" dia on the pulley end. 156" on the encoder end X 1.73" long, with 2 each.375" od X.156" id X.154" wide ball bearings(I ... morebought 2 similar bearings for $12 awhile back and they were so sloppy I couldn't use them for my app-these are way better) and a.315"od overrunning/backstop/one way sprag type clutch, a.465" pulley for round belt with some type of occilator grove behind the pulley grove. And I don't know how this is suppose to function, so don't know if it is working or not. I know that the power supply seems to work because when it is plugged into the reader, and the power toggle is turned on, the machine makes a long tone. Don't know if it needs to have anything added to it(plug in cartridge, printer, etc) in order to work or not, so am including the reader as a free item. Encoder is HEDS5505 A04 with 500 CPR. It has a 10pin SIP connector. The connector has 6wires connected to it. The red and black wires are for power to the motor. The other 4 wires are to the encoder. There is a 5 pin connector off the encoder that connects 4 wires to the 10pin SIP connector. The 4 wires coming off the 5pin connector are white. No connection, orange, green, blue. They include GND, no connect, CHA, 5V supply, CHB. Do not rely on this. Go, Google HEDS5505 for a data sheet on the encoder. AVAGO now makes them. They used to be HP.
