Here is a Nitto Kohki WA-3500 Power feed drill mounted on a permanent drill press stand. To make a long story short. Sold this about 3 months ago on Ebay the description said it needed the Magnetic Base which was shot. Some Idiot chose buy it now and gave me 550 bucks for it knowing it needed repairs, then did the old classic bait and switch and robbed the field assembly from my good motor and threw his junk in there. The evidence was the screws on the motor were backed out and there was 2 brand new blue butt connectors inside. He was suppose to send back with original box and packing we'll that didnt happen, used a thin cardboard box with hardly any packing material, I wouldnt of shipped A Dog biscuit in. Anyway funny thing is A new field only cost me $75 and His return shipping Was $85. Whata Dip@ Ebay gave his money back and I tried ... moreto fight it all the way to the top. We'll enough drama, I put a new field assembly in it, All brand new Nachi bearings while I had it apart, New brushes, Tossed the magnetic base in the trash, as well as the computer board and switches. Purchased a new master switch, A 24V DC rheostat variable speed control for the downfeed motor, A honeywell micro limit switch with adjustable rod. just purchased a 7/8 X 2" cutter with pilot and a 11/16 X 2" cutter with pilot. also has a NOS craftsman USA made vise which is completely adjustable front to back locked down with toe clamps. I designed this drill press to drill holes repetitively for square/ rectangular tubing or small brackets. This unit uses one touch arbor annular cutters. This Drillpress would be excellent in any manufacturing facility to rough out large holes prior to machining or building wrecker wheel lift L arms and Crossbars. I wont give out the reserve bid what its worth to you or what you can afford. Its not going to be cheap, You probably wont ever see another like it unless someone copies it. This is surplus from a large company. It is missing the chuck and the handle. The drill is working fine in both forward and reverse it is strong and quiet. The mag base slides on the base section and i cannot stop it. The screw in the back is stiff and will not move any further in It at one point would but I took it completely out and now it will not go in. The magnet does work and the on off forward reverse and speed control knobs all work. It needs a new cord. The cord on the drill itself is in good shape.
