Large Drill / Scaffold Motor
These units were used mainly to be put into scaffold platforms and were used to raise and lower the platform. The were originally made by Black and Decker but were sold out to another company that deals primarily with scaffold machines. This is a very good unit with lots of power left in it. It has been sitting in my repair shop waiting on the customer for over a year I have no need for a drill motor this big. I have had several people in my shop ask about this unit. If not interested in using this drill for scaffold other uses may be for mixing mud. Adhesives, mortar, boring large holes in wood. I cant tell you all the things my contractor customers said it would be good for. This motor only turns about 450rpm but you need to either hold on tight or stay out of the way because it has enough power to hurt somebody. Selling one of my Milwaukee MagDrills. I am only selling this because I have more and realized that I really don't need this many so I'm looking to recoup some money. It is in great working condition. Does show signs of use. I will ship this for free and it is really heavy so enjoy the free shipping! It is a model 4202& 4262-1. Comes with the chuck key and all 4 handles. As you can see in the pictures. It is a little dirtt and there is also some black electrical tape on the rubber boot just because it started to crack and I didn't want it to get any worse. Thanks!

This is a very nice portamag drill press that I've owned for a long time. A few years back I had it completely rebuilt, a new Milwaukee 2 hp motor, all new wiring and switches, new bridge rectifier, magnet resealed and resurfaced and all bolts replaced with grade 5 or better.The rack and pinion is in like new cond. and slides are very smooth. I even had some changes made that I'd always wanted: safety chain and adjuster, resettable breaker on the motor circuit(so that you don't trip a breaker and lose the magnet if the drill jams) momentary switch for the magnet for positioning and an indicator light that magnet is powered up, epoxy paint job on the housing and heavy duty SJ cable and water tite fittings. This is the Motor Support Assembly from a Craftsman Drill Press Model 103.23131 ■ The Motor Mount(part No. 18920(18021) is in great shape with no signs of damage. Paint is intact for the most part There is some very minor surface rust that a few rubs of steel-wool will take care of. The posts are straight and tight with no damage. The 2 bolts that secure it to the headstock are also included-threads are good with a little sign of wear on the heads. This part is from a drill press that I bought as a donor for one that I am refurbishing. I just needed the post. The press was covered in a nice layer of oil keeping it fairly rust-free over the years. It was working perfectly. I feel a little bad parting it out but I really don't eed another project. Close up pictures provided. There is a slit at the base of the cord from the press, shown in close-up. There is also a split at the plug-in that goes in the wall, also shown in close-up. The area that has black electrical tape is only covering the zip-tie that is holding the cords together, I reved the tape to look for more splits in the cord but the ones I mentioned are the only ones visible. This is surplus from a large company. It is missing the chuck and the handle. The drill is working fine in both forward and reverse it is strong and quiet. The mag base slides on the base section and i cannot stop it. The screw in the back is stiff and will not move any further in It at one point would but I took it completely out and now it will not go in. The magnet does work and the on off forward reverse and speed control knobs all work. It needs a new cord. The cord on the drill itself is in good shape.
