Craftsman Drill Press Cover. Motor pulley has rubbed a spot through the cover on the right rear. This is covered with duct tape and wrapped almost all the way around the cover(excess tape! and doesn't show well in the picture. The picture of the interiro shows this damage. This is the complete feed handle assembly from a Craftsman Drill Press Model 103.23131 ■ KNOBS: Part No. 18916 There are 3 knobs total. 2 of them are in great condition with no major scratches. One of them is in fair condition- not heavily scratched but has a.25" chip(see the 3rd photo) ■ RODS: Part No. 27618 There are 3 rods total. They are straight. None of the threads are stripped. The threads are 3/8-16. There is some surface discoloration on the metal that does not look bad- can likely be buffed clean. ■ HUB. PINION& PIN ASSEMBLY: Part No. 27160 The pinion is in great condition with no rust. The Hub is a different story. It's in just OK shape. The most noticeable thing is that the powder coating is flacking off. There is also a"soft" dent on the face- not too bad, but it's there. I do not have the spring that ... moreslip into the pinion. This is the front spindle assembly from a Craftsman Drill Press Model 103.23131 ■ Spindle Pulley: Part No. 27415 There are no dents. Warping or other imperfections to the pulley other than minor nicks. There is some grime that will come off with a good soaking- what you see here is what remained after a quick wipe with a thinner rag There are some nicks and shallow mar around the area where the pinion enters(see the 5th photo) ■ Pulley Ball Bearing: Part No. 18212 The bearings were protected with a thick coat of grease. There is no rust and they are turning freely. ■ Spindle Pulley Sleeve: Part No. 18413 Not much to say here. It's a metal sleeve. it has some scratches but is otherwise in fine condition. ■ Inner Snap Ring: Part No. 18414 This is the ring that holds the spindle assembly to the headstock. This is the Logo Plate from a Craftsman Drill Press Model 103.23131 ■ The color is good and all text is clear and intact. There's a ding just over the"T" in Craftsman. The part of the head frame that the tag was attached was very irregular. This created the bends you can see- one towards the middle& one on the right"ear. These can likely be flattened. ■ The pins are in great shape. The heads may need a little cleaning but otherwise will fit nicely into a head frame. Craftsman Drill Press Feed Stop Rod Assembly with Bracket
This is the Feed Stop Rod Assembly& Feed Stop Bracket from A Craftsman Drill Press Model 103.23131 ■ The Feed Stop Rod(part No. 27615) is in great condition with no rust. There's no warping or bending. Both Feed Stop Nuts(part No. 18427) and the Feed Stop Spacer(part No. 18426) are included and move freely around the Stop Rod. ■ The Feed Stop Bracket(part No. 38422) has flaking powder coating. The cap screw& all nuts are intact and in good condition with no stripping and minimal wear to the heads. ■ The Feed Stop Gasket(part No. 18417) is intact but a little dry. Zoom in on the last photo. It still has some life left in it but I wouldn't buy this assembly just for this piece. Likely can find a similar gasket at a hardware store. not sure. This is the Quill& Spindle Assembly from a Craftsman Drill Press Model 103.23131 ■ The Quill(part No. 27614) is in great shape with no damage. It was covered in a hefty layer of red grease so no rusting. The"teeth" are in great condition showing little wear. ■ The Spindle Assembly(part No. 27130) is also in great shape. with no rust and no major scratches or dings. Spins smoothly within the Quill. This is the Pinion Shaft Retaining Screw& Fiber Washer from A Craftsman Drill Press Model 103.23131 ■ This is the 5/16–18 bolt(part No. 18513) that fits through the headstock and holds the pinion shaft in place. It is in good condition with no stripping and only very minimal signs of wear to the head. ■ Also included is the Fiber Washer(part No. 18421) It is good condition and shows no signs of cracking. This is the Motor Support Assembly from a Craftsman Drill Press Model 103.23131 ■ The Motor Mount(part No. 18920(18021) is in great shape with no signs of damage. Paint is intact for the most part There is some very minor surface rust that a few rubs of steel-wool will take care of. The posts are straight and tight with no damage. The 2 bolts that secure it to the headstock are also included-threads are good with a little sign of wear on the heads. Craftsman Drill Press Feed Handle Rod & Knob (N0. 1)
This is a knob& rod from a Craftsman Drill Press Model 103.23131 ■ KNOB: Part No. 18916 This rod is in good condition. There is one area with a buffed out nick measuring about.25" I tried to capture the area but it was a bit difficult. You can see it on the top of the knob in the 6th photo and toward the bottom in the 7th photo. You can see it somewhat in the highlight of the 5th photo as well. ■ ROD: Part No. 27618 The rod is in great condition. It is not bent. None of the threads are stripped. The threads are 3/8-16. There is some minor surface discoloration on the metal that can likely be buffed out. The worst of this can be seen in the second to last photo. Craftsman 13 inch Variable Speed Drill Press - 2/3 HP - MINT CONDITION!
Selling my Craftsman 13 in 2/3 HP Variable Speed Drill Press. This has a 5/8 in chuck and speeds up to 3000 RPM. The table also tilts 45 degrees. Bought this new and used maybe 10 times at the most. After buying. I bolted it to a dolly so that it can easily be moved around the garage. I also have the original legs if needed. This machine is the cleanest pre-owned drill press that you will ever find. Most of the new ones they make are bench top models. The few floor models start at $350-$400. The reserve is a lot lower than what is referenced above. The sell price includes the dolly and I will even throw in the mortising bit pictured below.
