For your consideration is an Antique Hotchkiss heavy duty Stapler. Designed and patented by Eli Hubbell Hotchkiss of New York. 1896. This piece of office equipment has retained its original black enamel at the handle and base. The original wood mount is also present which is very often missing. It is in working condition with some staples left. You can see the staples through the window on the right side. Other than some light rust and loss of enamel there is no structural damage. Two industrial box staplers with 24.000 staples! These are set up for hands free operation! These were over $600 new each and the staples were about $120. So the winner is getting about $1300 worth of equipment very cheap. The last picture is a factory representation of the setup that would be used. The stapler gets mounted vertical and then you just push the box up to it for a hands free use. I am however not including any stands. These are easily obtained or made very inexpensively. The staplers and staples weigh about 70lbs that is why shipping might be pricey. These worked great when removed from service. They have sitting for a while.
