A couple minor dents, original finish(not polished or painted) Absolutely spotlessly clean inside canteen. No nasty funk/rust/goo. Cap needs cork insert. Otherwise ready to use. Cover is USGI Vietnam era ALICE. Material is cotton duck with vertical stitching. No side pocket. Rare WWII US Army Ceramic Canteen 1942 Vollrath Sheboygan Wi
A very rare WWII US Army Ceramic Canteen dated 1942 and manufactured by the Vollrath Co. Sheboygan, Wi. The canteen is in great shape with just a couple of chips(see pictures) The cap is the version which is flat on top and screws perfectly on the threaded neck, the cap chain has some minor rust but is strong and still attached. The jacket is in really nice shape with no rips or tears or rot. Marked"TROXEL MFG. 1942" the fiber insulated liner is intact, the snaps and studs have some minor corrosion but still snap perfectly. The cup is marked"EDWARD KATZINGER CO. 1943" the handle works perfectly, there is some minor corrosion inside that should easily clean out. A rare original WWII collectible. WWII Lot Canteen Cup Cover Vollrath TACU co rifle bore cleaner tin US rare nice
This is a neat little lot of thing I have from WWII era militaria. The canteen is marked Vollrath ad you can see. It is super clean and nice. I was able to get a good shot of the inside so you can see it is ready to drink from right now. The lid is also excellent. The cover is wool lined and shows some wear. There are no tears and only one tiny whole. Both buttons work and both belt clips work. The cup came with the canteen but clearly is a separate piece. I couldn't get a pic of the bottom to show the writing. It kinda faint. It says TACU co US 1945. The handle still slides into place nicely. This is a little dirty on the inside. It is still in the right shape for the canteen. The bottle tin reads"Cleaner- Rifle Bore" this is dirty but still totally legible. I did not remove the cap.

For sale is a medical tray by Vollrath Stainless Ware. It is marked#8283 on the bottom. It has a lid and measures 8 3/8" x 3" I purchased this at an estate sale at the home of a doctor. Please note that there are surface scratches over the entire piece but mostly concentrated on the lid and the underside of the box. Please see pictures for close ups.
