Meat Smoker with Trailer for Vending or Catering
I am selling my meat smoker. Along with lots of extras for your catering and grilling needs! I have owned it for 2 years, but only used it for one, before other projects got in the way. I bought it in Kansas City, as a competition smoker. It has been seasoned with cherry and apple wood; it is ready to use! The smoker will hold 5 gallons of water in the base. To provide moisture, and it comes equipped with a drain for easy clean-up. There is a grill-style warming spot on top of the smoker box. It is a large smoker; I've been able to fit 12 pork butts in it- it will do the job great! It has 3 thermometer/temperature guages on it. The smoker is attached to the trailer. Height is 12 feet. Weighs about 1500 lbs. and rides down the road perfectly. It is very stable, no hop or sway. The axle is in good condition and the trailer is compact enough ... moreto move around a fairground or marketplace easily. Not sure if the trailer lights work; haven't hooked them up yet this year. This is a 2014 6x16 V-nose enclosed trailer turned into a portable cooler. The trailer accepts a 2” ball and has LED taillights. We have been able to maintain temperatures below freezing. The cooler portion is made with foam insulation surrounded on both sides with Prodex Insulation. The insulation was caulked before the flooring was put in and caulked again. The cooler portion has been painted with a porch and floor enamel to make for easy cleanup. The cooler portion measures roughly 6’W x 11’L and just under 6’H. The Cooling unit is a Haier 15kBTU/Hr 110v unit with a CoolBot Controller and is very efficient. We use a similar cooler for our mobile food business but this also works great for produce farmers needing a place to quickly cool field crops or for your own home brewery.
