Nice Aged Condition Dovetail Bottom Sauce Pan This is a wonderful Old Copper Hand Wrought Sauce Stock Pan Pot purchased at an estate sale in the Wilmington. De area. The pan is in very good used condition, just needs some cleaning and Re-Tinning. The pan is well constructed with a Dovetail bottom and a heavy Hand Wrought Brass Handle. The pan is extremely well made and is very very sturdy. The pan holds 3 ½ quarts when full and I could not find a maker's mark on this lovely Old Antique Copper Sauce pan. There is the number 10 incised by the handle. There is a lovely heart shape anchoring the handle which is hand crafted to the pot. The pan is 8 ½" across the top not including the Brass handle and sits 4" high. The handle is 9 3/4" long and 1 1/8" wide. The pot is heavy and weighs 3 pounds 2 ounces. The pot ... moreis a tiny bit off and is not a perfect circle at the rim. I tried to take a picture of it but it is so slight that it was hard to do. REVERE WARE 4 1/2 Quart STOCK POT with lid. Process Patent pre 1968, Double Circle Logo The copper bottom is clean and shiny. The pot has a very nice shine to it, just normal use scratches, the lid has dulled a bit from use and cleaning and has some very small dimples in it that are mainly only noticeable from the inside The pot does sit flat with no wobble to it. There is some very light pitting on the inside bottom which does not effect its use The metal handles on the pan are tight and clean as is the knob on the lid.
