Up for auction is this fantastic 10-piece set of 1801 Revere Ware copper bottom on stainless steel cookware that was manufactured prior to 1968 in Revere's original Rome. NY factory. This is the original Revere Ware design famous for its quality and durability. Also included is a nice Revere 1-cup measuring cup. This complete set came from a recent estate sale and was obviously well cared for and is in very good to excellent used condition. All the pieces(except the measuring cup) have the"Made Under Process Patent" logo on the bottom. The set consists of a 1 1/2-Qt pot with lid. A 2-Qt pot with lid, a 3-Qt pot with lid, a 4 1/2 quart Dutch Oven with lid, and a 10-inch skillet with lid, and the measuring cup. The copper bottoms on all pieces are in excellent condition, nice and shiny with only minor scratching and signs of wear. ... moreThe handles are tight and in very good condition with no cracks. The lid handles are very good although one has a bit more wear than the others. The lids all fit tightly. The bottoms on the 2 quart and 3 quart are not perfectly flat, but are certainly usable especially on a gas range. The others bottoms are nice and flat. Up for auction is a lot large lot of vintage Revere Ware copper bottom pots and pans. These were all purchased new by a family member. We believe in the late 50's and 60's, and have been in the family all this time. All of the pieces show the usual wear: minor surface scratches and utensil marks that used cookware gets under normal conditions. Some of the handles are shinier than others. But all are in nice condition, with just regular wear and no real damage. All have the bail on the handle for hanging(except the dutch oven, of course. The knobs are also in good shape. Heavy-duty stainless steel stand with fold-down legs and travel bag. Mini butane burner; I filled it twice and will have to burn off the remainder of the butane so I can ship it.
