Offered today is this great measuring cup pitcher from the depression era. That is rather unusual. It is heavily embossed with measurements for liquid, sugar and flour. Measures from 2 oz. to 48 oz. ~ 1/4 to 1 lb. Flour ~ 1/4- 2 lbs of Sugar ~ 1/2 Cup to 6 Cups ~ 1 pint. 1 quart, 3 pints. The pitcher measures 8 1/2" high and weighs approx. 3 lbs. before packaging. The markings on the cup are not painted on, they are embossed. NO paint will wear off after multiple washings. It won't need to be replaced. There is ABSOLUTELY NO WEAR at all. 5 Coors Pottery Pharmaceutial Apothecary Medical Measuring Cups/Mixing Bowls
Set of 5 Coors Pottery mixing bowls or measuring cups as would be used in a lab or pharmacy. These are in great condition. Only 1 tiny chip on the medium size cup on the underside of the spout. Otherwise they are perfect. These have sizes marked on the side, I think, but they are not graduated. The largest is about the size of a soup bowl. These were rarely used and mostly as decorative items in my kitchen where they are beautiful, but they can easily be used for the purpose that they were intended. For sale is a pair of measuring calipers from P. Lowenbraut Newark New Jersey USA That is stamped on the leg of the item along with L.S. inside a diamond shape. I do not know the era but it has been in my Dads collection for decades. Measures 3" closed and may be able to measure up to 3" or so when open. Very nice for the collector.
